Where do i begin this time?
I mean it gets to a frustrating level sometimes, the level of addiction to which vitamin W can cause. So much you'd be ready to openly and publicly screw this country over for your sake, and STILL get away with it.
(Just a reminder , vitamin W = was6a - wasta - connections - knowing people to get your shit done)
The thing is that it's a thin line before you cross it and then you'd be held for defamation of public figures, so this will still be kept anonymous.
But let's face it, everyone knows about, and yet no one is bothering to do anything.
I'm not saying she was perfect, but the x-Minister of Health was trying to do good, and even if it didn't end so, her intentions were good, and that's something to count for. I know I could be said to have been bad-mouthing her for a while, but since she took her post and almost everyday you read or hear something in the news to which she had an arm in. All in an attempt to improve the ever-so-worsening situation of this Ministry.
But they've been hunting her like rabid wolves. And since the first day they've been hammering her with interrogations, committees, investigations, most of which she had nothing to do with, or atleast, haven't been given enough time to deal with. She wasn't the end target of their hunt, firstly, and secondly, she halted providing healthcare to fly people abroad for unnecessary causes, something which should have been done a long time ago.
And then the final nail was hammered on the coffin, when the fire started in Jahra Hospital. Alot argued the fact that she should be held accountable because she's the head figure of the ministry. True to some sense, but maybe when there's something more catastrophic that happened in the country God forbid. I mean what happened to holding the Hospital Director responsible for negligence of health and safety issues (something that THEY should ensure and not the Ministry), as is the case in EVERY hospital in Kuwait? What happened to the Health Area Management? I'm a surgeon at the beginning of my career; if I screw up a case of simple appendicitis, who should be held responsible? My consultant surgeon who looks after the Unit's patients, or the Hospital Manager? You see my point of hierarchy which I'm trying to set?
I don't know the answer to everything, but I know something is wrong in the picture, so is every Kuwaiti these days. I have never seen Kuwait been segregated in political issues than before, and everyone knows what's going on that is wrong in EVERY detail, yet no one is doing anything but whine over it. And that's sad...
But I express and send my apologizes to the x-Minister of Health Ministry of the State of Kuwait, and I say I am sorry on behalf of the scum bags who hunted you down for trying to do good.
As for everyone else, I say this:
If this is democracy (and I really do support democracy) then I say:
Shit.... F*** democracy!
